Things NOT to do in an #interview
DO NOT 👇🏼
1. Over speak:
Speak as required. If you over do it, there are chances you get caught off guard in cross questioning.
2. Oversell:
Know your worth and the #position you are applying for. Over demanding gets you out of the race.
3. Be Vulnerable:
Don’t beg for the #job. They will offer you if you are good, whether you need it or not.
Begging for the position puts you in weak position and might get your need exploited with a very low offer
4. Over dress:
Nobody wants to see you in maroon sherwani that you wore at your cousin’s wedding. Keep it simple, Weather appropriate, formal.
5. Eating before #interview:
Everybody loves onion rings, but not on you coat or served in form of breath odour.
Take juice or water before you go in, increases your blood sugar and reduces #anxiety.
6. Go without a #resume:
Sometimes #recruiters do not have your resumes at hand, always carry an extra copy in an envelop. Don’t wipe your hands with it after eating a samosa.
7. Go silent:
If you don’t know an answer, just be honest about it and tell them. Keep the convo going.
8. Pretend:
Do not pretend to be some you are not, we can easily tell a lie from truth. Be YOU
9. Shy away:
Be #confident, speak, exclaim but wisely.
